1975 – Connecticut College, BA Theatre Studies
1975-1980 – The Charles Playhouse; Actors Equity Stock Contract company manager, show photographer and assistant to theatre owner. Shot publicity and advertising stills for over fifteen shows. Assignments included Jay Leno, Harvey Fierstein, Shirley Jones, Richard Pryor, Robert Preston, Gary Shandling, Bob Hope, Stephen Wright, Liza Minelli, Elizabeth Taylor, Carol Channing, Richard Chamberland, & Betsy Palmer.
1975 – Diamond Studs, Charles Playhouse publicity photo published in Time Magazine.
1980 – Exclusive photographer for the Queen of Thailand’s royal visit to Boston. Began full-time publicity and advertising photography business.
1980 – Exclusive photographer for John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s “top secret” first day of Double Fantasy recording sessions at the Hit Factory in New York. Photos published world-wide. Rolling Stone magazine receives exclusive image from photographer.
1982 – Exclusive photographer for the First International Grain Milling and Baking Symposium, held in Shanghai, Beijing and Beidaihe, China. Photographs exhibited at Boston City Hall.
1983-1988 – Produced popular weekly, full-page photo column, “Boston People”, in The Boston Ledger. Clients included Boston Symphony Orchestra, Institute of Contemporary Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Public Library, National Amusements / VIACOM, Wang Center for the Performing Arts, Hermes, Cartier, Tiffany, Copley Plaza, Ritz-Carlton, and Sheraton Hotels Corp.
1986 – Exclusive photographer for H.R.H. Prince Charles’s Royal Boston visit, including portrait session at the Ritz-Carlton and reception at Burberry’s on Newbury Street.
1992-1995 – Produced popular full-page photo columns, “RSVP” in Boston magazine and “Proper Bostonians” in The Improper Bostonian magazine.
1996-2010 – Photographs regularly published in The Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Boston Common. Photos published in People, Parade, Newsweek, The New York Times, Elle, Vogue, Town & Country, Paris Match, W and GQ.
2016-2017 – Solo photo exhibition, “Celebrity in Boston 1975-1995,” at Panopticon Gallery, Boston. The popular, fifty-print show drew extensive print, TV, radio and social media coverage and ran for over nine months.
2026 – First book published, Starting Over with John and Yoko: The Photographs, with co-author noted Beatles scholar and author, Ken Womack, is published by Rutgers University Press.
